Join us Sunday, October 5th from 4:00-5:30 pm for a musical treat! Feast your ears on the incredible Kevin Patton Quartet performing with one of our perennial favorites, the supremely talented Alva Anderson. Kevin's quartet uniquely merges Gospel and Jazz into a powerful combination that's never been heard before. Based in Charleston, the quartet has peformed in venues all around the Southeast. In 2015 they released an album titled "Full Authority". The album represents their desire to be both technically proficient and emotionally impactful. Much of their repertoire is original music, striving to be pioneers for a new generation.
Alva Anderson is a jazz performer known for her soulful and dynamic performances. She has been a fixture in the local jazz scene, with regular appearances at Forte Jazz Lounge. Her rich vocal style has earned her a devoted following. Anderson has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in jazz including: Carmen MacRea, Dizzy Gillespie, Barry Harris, Tito Puente and more.
